Mike Ronning (VP of Business Development)
Mike has over 25 years of experience in health care administration, accounts receivable management, managed care contracting, and revenue cycle outsourcing. He possesses expertise in all aspects of revenue cycle management including patient access, hospital business services, and CBO operations. He has restructured revenue cycle departments, turned around unprofitable operations, and trained and mentored staff and management. In his current position as Vice President, Business Development, Mike is maximizing the company’s sales results. He works closely with other members of the PHS team to insure that outstanding value and service is provided to PHS customers.

Rebecca Forsyth, RHIA
(VP Product Development)
Rebecca Forsyth, RHIA, is the Vice President, Product Development for Pyramid Healthcare Solutions with more than 25 years experience in Health Information Management, System Implementation, Revenue Cycle Optimization and Infrastructure Development. Ms. Forsyth has practiced her profession, both nationally and internationally. In her current role, Ms. Forsyth is responsible for strategically positioning Pyramid’s services toward expanded growth and service line opportunities, as well as overseeing all services within the HIM division. She has served in various Revenue Cycle Consulting, Revenue Cycle Interim Management and Revenue Cycle Senior Engagement Leader positions. Her career was initially established in the HIM Department, with progressive Management Positions, focusing on re-engineering departments concurrently with system implementations. Rebecca is an exceptional leader and a valuable asset to the PHS team. |

Melinda Scaffe
(Assistant Vice President, Operations)
Melinda has over 25 years experience in progressive hospital and physician accounts receivable management, 11 of which are with Pyramid Healthcare Solutions. Her past experience with PHS includes development of policies and procedures for billing and follow up, system support, data management, quality assurance and staff education. As AVP of operations, Melinda provides oversight or is directly involved with:
- Staff supervision and development
- Enforcement of all existing policies and procedures
- Budgetary responsibilities for division
- Assuring work environment is secure and HIPAA compliant; and that staff is educated and adheres to HIPAA guidelines
- Establishing more relevant goals and benchmarking related to processes and performance
- Monitoring daily operating activity of department and make necessary adjustments in work assignments
- Adjusting staffing levels as necessary

Jill Kramer, RHIA, CCS is the Director of Coding and Education Services for Pyramid Healthcare Solutions with more than 20 years experience in healthcare operations and leadership. In her roles as a HIM professional, Jill focuses on coding and auditing operations, regulatory compliance, education, mentoring & monitoring and performance improvement. She possesses a great deal of experience and knowledge managing coding and auditing operations; HIM projects; performance improvement analysis and adoption of best practice methodology; ensuring regulatory compliance within the healthcare field and coding compliance |

Lou Lorenzano
(Executive Director, Business Operations)
Lou Lorenzano is the Executive Director of Business Operations for Pyramid Healthcare Solutions with more than 25 years experience in operations and leadership. Lou currently oversees the day-to-day operations of the HIM Division as well as managing the outsourced clients. Lou possesses a great deal of experience and knowledge managing large workforces in diverse climates, including academic medical facilities and union environments. Lou is a proven leader working collaboratively with senior leadership, colleagues and facilities to exceed their operational objectives. His experience managing several service lines including, HIM consulting, coding, medical transcription and project management, enable him to relate and impact the operational and financial success of the organization. |

Barbara Ann Gleeson
(Assistant Director of Reimbursement)
In her role as Assistant Director of Reimbursement, Barbara lends her combined 20 years experience in healthcare billing, auditing and collections to our reimbursement department. As a consultant working directly with facilities, Barbara has had great success in generating increased revenue. As Manager and CEO of multiple healthcare facilities, Barbara has created and implemented successful procedures for billing and collections, and has a track record of increased productivity and cash flow.

Kim Barlow, RHIA, CCS is the Assistant Director, Audit Services for Pyramid Healthcare Solutions and has more than 15 years experience in healthcare operations and leadership. In her roles as an HIM professional, Kim focuses on auditing and education operations, regulatory compliance, education, mentoring and monitoring and performance improvement. She possesses a great deal of experience and knowledge managing coding and auditing operations, HIM projects, performance improvement analysis and adoption of best practice methodology, ensuring regulatory compliance within the healthcare field and coding compliance. |

James Santana (Service Line Director)
In his role as Service Line Director, James brings over 20 years experience in project and financial management, as well as marketing and business development. In his past experience, James has served as Manager and Director of multiple healthcare facilities, and oversaw both A/R and Customer Service departments. As Service Line Director, he brings invaluable experience in negotiating and securing vendor contracts, monitoring and analyzing A/R trends and has proven success in collection and cash flow improvement. |
